In response to what makes a book a "keeper," for me, I would say that the book has to be interesting, intriguing, and suspenseful. Also, perhaps continue to bring something new each time I read it. There are still a few books that I've read many times, and each time I still feel like I discover something new. Or a book that keeps me guessing and tangled in the storyline - especially if it's a mystery book and I can't figure out who the "bad guy" is. It is rare that I am wrong about guessing who the killer is, but every now and then I am and those books definitely stay on my shelves to be re-read many times to see if there were clues I missed or how I ended up going in a different direction with my "bad guy" choice. Looking forward to checking out this book and perhaps having this book be a new "keeper" addition to my bookshelf!Ally Swansonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11478866573221215579noreply@blogger.com
