My Review:
Death Logs Out is the third installment from E J Simon’s Michael Nicholas series. The reader continues to follow Michael Nicholas world and newly found life of danger and intrigue. It has now been two years since his brother, Alex Nicholas, was murdered. Alex continues to contact Michael by virtual means.
Death Logs Out involves many settings throughout the world including the United States, but Rome, Italy, Paris, France, Berlin, Germany and The Vatican. This book has much more suspense and mystery than the first two in Michael Nicholas series. There is corruption, Nazis, and the Pope entwined the story. Which made it a roller coasting riding thriller. I think this one is probably my favorite of the series to date.
The mystery of Alex Nicholas’s murder and his ability to still contact Michael continues to intrigue. It seems as though Alex did not make as many appearances in this book like he did in the others. However, there was more questions whether or not he was actually dead. I liked that suspense trying and hoping this mystery would be solved.
Death Logs Out gets a four and a half stars from me. I hope this is not the end of the Michael Nicholas series. I feel as though this series could go on and on for many more books. I would definitely be interested in continuing on. I enjoy getting to know Michael, Alex and the others that they have been involved with over the last three books.
Recommended for those who enjoy creepy, unpredictable thrillers. I have already told my neighbor about it and she plans to pick up a copy for herself.
