My Review:
Kathleen L Maher's Love Brick by Brick is a sweet story set in 1857 Elmira, New York. Rufus and Sarah's story is so sweet with the most beautiful time of the year, Christmas. I, especially, love the little girl, Nellie.
Love Brick by Brick is definitely not one to be missed from The Victorian Christmas Brides Collection. I cannot wait to read more by Miss Kathleen L Maher in the future.
Highly Recommended.
Five Plus Stars.
I received this book from the author. This review 100% my own honest opinion.
Thank you so much, Kathleen, visiting my blog today. I would love to read or write a story set during the time and place my grandfather grew up.

ReplyDeleteI would love to read about the 1920's at Christmas and New Year's Eve time. Idk my g'ma was around at that time and i'd like a glimpse of that time period.
ReplyDeleteHi Sabrina. My grandmother was one of those fun loving ladies of the roaring 20s too. Wouldn’t it be something if they knew one another? She grew up in the suburbs of New York city and her stories were always fun. But they were very poor and she said she used to get very little for Christmas She said she was lucky to get an orange in her stocking. My grandparents were hard-working people and owned a general store during the great depression. The stories from that era are fascinating, I agree. Thanks so much for coming by and good luck in the drawing!
