My Review

I have always loved Anita Higman's devotionals and her newest one, Pure Joy: 90 Devotions on the Book of James, is no different. The devotions are short but full of scripture and faith. Each one are only about two pages long and include a verse from the book of James in the Bible, commentary, followed by a Pausing for Proverbs. I thought they were all fabulous to read and I felt inspired by reading it. 

I am giving Pure Joy: 90 Devotions on the Book of James by Anita Higman a very well deserved five plus stars. I highly recommend it for readers who are looking for short devotions to work into their busy schedules and still find a way to study the word of God. As always, I will be looking for more by Anita Higman in the future. 

I received a hard cover copy of Anita Higman's Pure Joy: 90 Devotions on the Book of James from the publisher, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
