Meet the Author:
Lee Hudspeth is a poet, writer, musician and fellow human being. Incandescent Visions is his first book of poetry. He is the co-author of ten nonfiction books in the field of Information Technology. He has written articles for professional journals like PC Computing and Office Computing. He is the author of over one hundred articles in the online magazine The Naked PC, which he co-founded and co-published. He lives in Southern California with his wife, two sons and their cat. My Review:

I have to admit that I do not normally take the time to read books of poetry. After reading Incandescent Visions by Lee Hudspeth, that will soon change. I thought it was a great collection of poetry. 

Incandescent Visions is only a little over fifty pages long. There are only five chapters. The first four have four to six poems each, while the fifth chapter has twelve haikus and three not haikus. I liked how the author took the time to accompany commentary for each chapter. I appreciated the clear explanations. I found that each poem was different with its own special and unique style. There were some that invoked some emotions out of me, while others that took me on an adventurous journey. I was at times smiling at what I was reading and searching for my tissues at others. My favorite chapter was number 2. It is titled Reflections. I thought the memorials written for the author’s mother and friend were touching and beautifully written. I found all of them to be easy to read and understand. 

I am giving Incandescent Visions four and a half stars. Thank you, Mr Hudspeth, for reminding why I loved poetry many years ago when I was a teen. I will look forward to reading more of his work in the near future. I would love to see where else his imagination and visions will appear between the pages.
