My Review:

A Darkening of Dragons begins the exciting series by S A Patrick, Songs of Magic. I enjoyed this retelling of the Piper of Hamelyn. Even though this is for younger readers, I loved it. It was full of adventure, action, and folk lore. I just had to keep reading to find out what would happen with Patch. It was so good. 

A Darkening of Dragons will be getting a very well deserved five plus stars from me. I highly recommend it for readers between the ages of eight and twelve who enjoy reading fantasy. I look forward to reading the next installment from S A Patrick’s Songs of Magic series, A Vanishing of Griffins. I can not wait to find out what happens with Patch and her friends next. 

I received a paperback copy of A Darkening of Dragons from the publisher, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
