Bernie was born and raised in Baltimore, MD and now resides in Joppa, a small community just a bit north up the I-95 corridor. He has spent his entire professional career in Education and Financial Services. More importantly he is a Husband, Father, and Grandfather to a beautiful family.

Who inspires you?  

My family, especially my Grandkids.  Two of them are the inspiration and focus of my 2 books

What are you most proud of?  

My kids and Grandchildren…they are awesome

How did you come up with the title of (your book you want to talk about)?  

It was just there... The kids gave me the words

How did you come up with the plot for (your book you want to talk about)?  

Not really a plot, just ideas…straight from the grandchildren

Who is your favorite character in (your book you want to talk about) and why?  

Bryndon from My Special Gifts…if you met him you would understand why.  Words can not express his character (for lack of a better word

We live in divisive times. Should your religion/politics influence your writing?  

I write what I feel.  If I’m being influenced by outside sources, I’m not aware.. Don’t need the news to tell me what’s right

What are you working on now?  

Nothing…I have ideas, but no work yet

Anything else you'd like to share with our readers?  

No advice except if you have an idea you want to share, take each step at a time…you’ll get there.  And, make it yours, don’t doubt what you have to say.
