Blog Tour and Giveaway: Sandcastle Inn by Irene Hannon

About the Book

Book: Sandcastle Inn

Author: Irene Hannon

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Release Date: April 2, 2024

Vienna Price never intended to return for more than a passing visit to Oregon and all the bad memories she’d left behind. But when your career tanks, home is where you go to nurse your wounds and chart a new course. Only temporarily, of course—because as much as she loves her quirky mom, anything more than a short stay would drive them both crazy.

A trip to Oregon isn’t in Matt Quinn’s plans, either, until a perfectly timed appeal for help arrives from his sister. What better place to decompress after a shattering loss than a quiet, seaside town named Hope Harbor? But R&R isn’t on the agenda when he arrives to find his sister’s new enterprise on life support.

Vienna, however, may have just the skills needed to resuscitate the foundering B&B—if Matt can convince her to hang around long enough to mend an inn . . . and his heart.

More from Irene

In my world, the approach of April signals not only tulips, dogwoods, and daffodils, but a return to my little seaside town of Hope Harbor on the Oregon coast. And this year marks a milestone. Sandcastle Inn is the tenth book set in this charming locale.

When I conceived of this series back in 2013, neither I nor my editor had any idea how long it would run—or that Publishers Weekly would deem my small fictional town “a place of emotional restoration that readers will yearn to visit.”

But visit they have. Hundreds of thousands of copies of the books have been sold worldwide, the novels have been translated into multiple languages, and taco-making artist/town sage Charley Lopez has become an iconic figure.

It’s been an amazing journey—with more books to come.

If you’ve never visited Hope Harbor and are reluctant to dive in at this stage, no worries. Each book stands alone, with a whole new cast of main characters. Each story also begins and ends in each book, with no hanging plot threads from book to book. The town is the unifying element in the series—along with a few secondary characters like Charley, the bantering town clerics from neighboring churches, and the seagull couple Floyd and Gladys, who always seem to be around when romance is in the air.

If you’re new to the series, Sandcastle Inn is a fine jumping-off point. This story features a hero struggling to recoup from a tragic loss and a heroine still reeling from an unplanned career detour. When they join forces to save a floundering inn, challenges ensue…and sparks fly. Because if it’s Hope Harbor, there has to be romance!

The book resonates with multiple other themes too—dealing with grief, moving on, changing direction, mending past relationships, taking a leap of faith. And of course there’s a happy ending.

It’s the kind of book that will put a smile on your lips and hope in your heart.

So I invite you to find a comfy spot, pour a mug or cup of your favorite beverage, and travel with me to Hope Harbor, where hearts heal…and love blooms.

Insider’s Tip: If you ever decide to book a stay at Sandcastle Inn, ask for the seaside room upstairs at the end of the hall that leads to the right. The view is stunning!

My Review

I was excited to find out Irene Hannon was releasing a tenth installment to her beloved Hope Harbor series and was honored to have the opportunity to read it. I adored Vienna and Matt's story. They had wonderful chemistry together. I wanted to see how it would end for the two of them and what decisions they make for themselves. I thought this was a great read and is now my favorite of this series.

I would give Sandcastle Inn more than five stars if I could. I highly recommend it for those who love to read clean romantic fiction with a beautiful setting. As always, I will be looking forward to more books to release from Irene Hannon in the future.

Review: Body of Evidence by Irene Hannon

Body of Evidence by Irene Hannon

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Blurb:

Forensic pathologist Grace Reilly has seen her share of unusual deaths in rural Missouri. But when she begins to notice a curious pattern in autopsies of elderly residents whose demise appears to be natural, she takes her concerns to Sheriff Nate Cox.

Nate is skeptical about the link Grace is seeing between the deaths--and her suspicions of foul play. But her persistence is compelling. Once she finally convinces him her theory is credible and they join forces to investigate, danger follows. Because exposing the truth could destroy several lives--including Grace's.

Queen of inspirational romantic suspense Irene Hannon closes out her bestselling Triple Threat series with this gripping tale of secrets revealed and romance sparked.

My Review:

I loved the first two books from Irene Hannon’s Triple Threat series, Point of Danger and Labyrinth of Lies. I could not wait to get my hands on the third installment, Body of Evidence. Oh my goodness, what a fabulous book to read. I was hooked with Grace and Nathan’s story right from the start. There is a lot that I enjoy reading in a book: mystery, suspense, unique, plot twists, danger, action and, of course, the romance. I could not put it down until I had it all read in one sitting.

Body of Evidence is getting five plus stars from me. I believe other readers who enjoy reading thrilling suspense filled books will want to read this one. I am hoping there will be more to come from the Triple Threat series.

I received a paperback copy of Body of Evidence from the publisher, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.

Review: Point of Danger by Irene Hannon

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Blurb:

Radio talk show host Eve Reilly is used to backlash from her pot-stirring on-air commentary and interviews, but now it seems a disgruntled listener is resorting to more than angry words to express their displeasure. When a suspicious package arrives on her doorstep, Eve turns to law enforcement for help.

Police detective Brent Lange can't find any evidence to link the string of unsettling incidents that follows, but he's convinced they're connected. As the harassment grows more menacing, it becomes clear someone wants Eve's voice silenced--permanently.

But unless he can track down her foe, fast, the gutsy woman who is willing to take risks for what she believes--and who is swiftly winning his heart--may not survive.

Bestselling author and three-time RITA Award winner Irene Hannon is back with a heart-stopping new series that will have you turning pages well into the night.

They had great chemistry together and a perfect duo. The story was far from being predictable and I never knew where they would end up in each scene. The twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat all through out the book. It was so very good.

Review: Pelican Point by Irene Hannon

Blurb (from Amazon):

A crumbling lighthouse is not part of the inheritance Army doctor Ben Garrison expects to claim when he journeys to Hope Harbor. Fresh out of the service, he wants only to unload the tower of bricks, decompress from years of treating battlefield trauma, and prepare to launch his civilian career.

Hope Harbor Herald editor Marci Weber has other ideas. She may not be a Hope Harbor native, but the small Oregon seaside town has become home--and she's determined to save the Pelican Point landmark.

Sparks fly as the two go head to head over the fate of the lighthouse. But when they start to cooperate, a different kind of fire ignites. And as they work together, might Hope Harbor heal the hearts of these two romance-wary souls?

My Review:

Pelican Point is book four from Irene Hannon’s Hope Harbor series. I enjoyed this story. It was fun to see how Ben and Marci interacted with one another. I loved how the town lighthouse brought them together. The story was a little predictable but still worth a read. I definitely cannot complain about Being taken away to this beautiful setting.

I recommend Pelican Point and give it four stars. A great addition to the series.

I received this book from the publisher. This review is 100% my own honest opinion.
