About the Author

I’m Jennifer Carr. I’m a wife, homeschooling mom, baker, part-time farmer, social media addict, and an avid reader. I’m a lover of coffee, music, learning, animals, and writing.

I have a degree in Psychology, a Master’s in Marriage & Family Counseling, and certifications in Life Coaching, Health and Wellness Coaching, and am a certified Brain Health Professional. I also taught high school AP Psychology for several years.

I’ve always loved writing. Complete transparency alert – I never set out to become an author. I know, that probably sounds unlikely considering, but it’s true. I sat down one day and decided I wanted to write a story because I needed to know how a dream I’d awoken from ended. It snowballed and turned into chapters and eventually into an entire book. When I finished that book, I needed to make sure my characters were OK and thriving so I wrote the second book.

It was at that point I realized that being an author was something I could see myself doing for a really long time. So, I’m still writing and loving every minute of it. When I’m not writing, there’s a good chance I’m reading and drinking coffee!

More from Jennifer

Wrapped Up in You is book two of the Real American Country Series. But don’t worry, it can definitely be read as a standalone! The series follows a reality television country music competition and some of the contestants as they pursue their dreams of becoming country music recording artists. This book follows the story of Nash Montgomery and Cassidy Raye Stanton as they each navigate the pressures of the spotlight. They’ll each have to decide if they’re chasing their own dreams—or someone else’s. And along the way, they’ll discover that getting wrapped up in the right person can bring out the best in themselves.

Wrapped Up in You is a heartwarming tale about breaking free from the expectations of others, finding love, and discovering that the best path is the one you create for yourself.

One of my favorite things about writing this series is coming up with custom playlists for each book. If you love country music or just want to see what all the fuss is about, here’s the playlist that goes along with Wrapped Up in You: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2hXjkRFytj9tPFpitHRdEf?si=d0209225ac1f41e0

My Review

Wrapped Up in You is the second installment from Jennifer Carr's Real American Country series. Even though it is part of a series, I believe it can easily be read as a stand alone. I enjoyed getting to know Cassidy and Nash. Their story is a sweet heartwarming tale of letting go and being true to yourself. I thought it was a great book to read.

I am giving Wrapped Up in You four and a half stars. I recommend it for readers who enjoy reading clean contemporary romance. I am interested in continuing the Real American Country series with book three, Let Me Love You. This is one not to be missed and worth reading.

I received a paperback copy of Jennifer Carr's Wrapped Up in You from the publisher, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.

More from Jennifer

The Lost and Found is the second book of the No Matter What series but can be read as a standalone. I needed to make sure my characters were happy and healthy after their adventures in the book one so the day I sent No Matter What to my editor, I started writing The Lost and Found.

I love to bake and when I was pregnant with our daughter, I craved all things sweet. One of the characters in the book has a similar craving so I created a recipe for her to enjoy. I’d love to share it with you.

My Review

The Lost and Found is the second installment from the No Matter What series by Jennifer Carr. I enjoyed the first book and enjoyed this one so much more. It was full of intrique, action, adventure, mystery, and suspense. I could not put it down. I loved the inclusion of faith within the pages that showed lessons to be learned, as well. I thought it was a great way to spend a rainy day.

I am giving The Lost and Found five stars. I highly reecommend it readers who love to read clean and Christian Suspense. I am hoping for a third addition from the No Matter What series to be released soon. I believe this one should not be missed.

More from Jennifer

I loved writing this book. There were days that words poured out of me as though a dam had broken. Other days I stared at the screen until my eyes felt crossed and only touched the keyboard to text my husband how absolutely uninspired I was.

The day before I clicked PUBLISH, I reread the entire book cover-to-cover, word-for word and just as I had the first time through, I smiled, I cried, my heart swelled, and it shattered into pieces. Then it was gently put back together as I was reminded of the hope that is always waiting for us, no matter what.

One of my favorite quotes from the book:

“…if you will let God redeem your losses, you might find that he restores you, too…”

My Review

No Matter What is the first book I have read by Jennifer Carr. I will definitely be reading more releases from her.  It is, also, the start to the series by the same name. What an exciting start it is. I loved reading this story between Jess and Bryan. The two become a great team as they take this adventure with a lot of twists and turns that kept me engaged all throughout.

No Matter What will be getting a very well deserved five plus stars from me. I highly recommend it for readers who love to read clean romantic suspense. I am looking forward to reading the next book from the No Matter What series, The Lost and Found.

I received a paperback copy of Jennifer Carr’s No Matter What from the publisher, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
