Review: Lone Star Standoff by Margaret Daley

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Blurb:

A high-profile trial turns lethal...The next exciting Lone Star Justice novelPresiding over the trial of a powerful drug cartel member, Judge Aubrey Madison finds her life threatened, and Texas Ranger Sean McNair isn't taking any chances. Protecting the widow and her twins comes naturally to Sean--maybe too naturally for a guy who's convinced he shouldn't have a family. But he can't help wishing for a future with Aubrey...if he can keep her alive.

My Review:

Lone Star Standoff is a fabulous romantic suspense and is from Margaret Daley’s Lone Star Justice series. I enjoyed this book. I had no problem reading this quick paced read from cover to cover in one sitting. It is that good! I love the main characters Sean and Aubrey. I never knew what was going to happen next. I did not find it predictable at all.

Lone Star Standoff is getting a well deserved five plus stars from me. I highly recommend it to readers who enjoy suspense filled stories that are clean.

Review: Lone Star Christmas Witness by Margaret Daley

Lone Star Christmas Witness (Lone Star Justice #5)
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Blurb:

With a killer at large, Texas Ranger Taylor Blackburn must safeguard little Ben Markham--the sole survivor of a mass shooting. But allowing Ben and his beautiful aunt, Sierra Walker, into his life is riskier than Taylor imagined. While he can distract Ben with Christmas planning, Taylor can't ignore how Sierra makes him feel. The only thing harder than protecting them is guarding his own heart...

My Review:

Lone Star Christmas Witness is a yet another fabulous addition to Margaret Daley's series, Lone Star Justice. This fifth installment involves action and suspense for Sierra, Taylor and Ben. I loved the chemistry between Sierra and Taylor and how much they want to protect Ben. I was captivated with this story start and finish. I just could not put it down.

I thought Lone Star Christmas Witness a great read and I give it five plus stars. I loved this quick read!

Review: Texas Baby Pursuits by Margaret Daley

Blurb (from Amazon):

On a kidnapper’s trail…

Lone Star Justice never fails

Minutes after his baby nephew is kidnapped, Texas Ranger Dallas Sanders traces the crime to a child trafficking ring hiding in plain sight. As he and local sheriff Rachel Young race to expose the sinister conspiracy, they’re determined to keep their relationship professional. But when Rachel’s infant daughter is also abducted, can she and Dallas rescue the children in time…and survive to have a future together?

My Review:

Texas Baby Pursuit is the fourth book from Margaret Daley's Lone Star Justice series. I enjoyed this story and had it read in a few hours. Dallas and Rachel had great chemistry together that made me want to keep reading to find out what would happen next. I could not imagine her turmoil when her own daughter becomes among the kidnapped children. I was on the edge of my seat until the end.
I give Texas Baby Pursuit five plus stars.

Review: Hunted (Everyday Heroes #1) by Margaret Daley

Blurb (from Amazon):

A new romantic suspense series by USA Today Bestselling Author Margaret Daley
Murder. On the Run. Second Chances.

Luke Michaels' relaxing camping trip ends when he witnesses a woman being thrown from a bridge. He dives into the river to save her, shocked to find her wrapped in chains. As a canine search and rescue volunteer, Luke has assisted many victims, but never a beauty whose defeated gaze ignites his primal urge to protect. When Megan Witherspoon's killers make it clear they won't stop, Luke fights to save her, but can he keep her alive long enough to find out who is after her?

My Review:

Hunted is a fabulous start to Margaret Daley’s new series, Everyday Heroes. It is no secret she is among my favorite and go to authors. But this has got to be one of her best works. I just wanted to read a few pages right before bed, but I stayed up until I finished the whole book! I love the hero, Luke, and how he saved Megan. Those two became quite the duo trying to find out what happened to her and why. Great “stay on the edge of your seat” suspense!

5 plus stars. Highly recommended.

Review: Lone Star Christmas Rescue by Margaret Daley

Blurb (from Amazon):

A baby's frantic cries lead Texas Ranger Drake Jackson to an injured woman in Big Bend Park, the infant by her side. But "Kay" has no idea who she is or what happened. All she seems sure of is that she's in terrible danger. When someone comes after her—determined to snatch the child—Drake takes her and little Kaleb to his family's ranch to protect them. But with the attackers circling closer as Christmas approaches, the guarded ranger knows they won't be safe there for long. Vowing to uncover her identity and catch her attacker, Drake plans to give mother and child the holiday they deserve…safe by his side forever.

My Review:

Lone Star Christmas Rescue is book two from Margaret Daley's series, Lone Star Justice. Right from the first page, I was hooked into the story and did not want to put the book down until I was finished. I wanted to find out who the mysterious Kay and the baby she had was. I loved the hero, Drake, and loved how he wanted to protect the two at all costs.

I did not find this book to be predictable and was surprised at how it had ended. A great and clean romantic suspense.

5+ stars.

Review: Her Baby's Protector by Margaret Daley and Susan Sleeman

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Her Baby's Protector is a book with two novellas. These novellas include:

Saved by the Lawman by Margaret Daley. Officer and ex-Marine, Chase Walker, must protect widowed family court judge Kate Forster and her infant son after someone attempted to kidnap the baby. This is a good, action-packed, suspense-filled, clean and romantic short read.

Saved by the SEAL by Susan Sleeman. Bree Hatfield finds herself taking custody of her best friends' daughter, Ella, when they were tragically killed. Bree believe they were murdered, even when it was ruled as an accident. She contacts her ex-boyfriend and Navy Seal, Clint Reed, for help. I loved watching these two together and what they will do to protect little Ella. Another good, clean, suspenseful and romantic short read.

Highly recommended.
