My Review

Anne by Rena Groot is another wonderful addition to the multi author series, Prairie Roses Collection. I enjoyed going back in time to the 1880s and joining the Oregon Trail. I adored Anne right from the start. I could see myself in Anne with the doubts and the fears, but yet she finds her determination and courage. I admired her strength and how she was able to discover herself, find faith and hope and learning about the power of forgiveness. At under one hundred eighty pages, it was easy for me to continue this book in one sitting. I loved it.

I am giving Anne five stars. I believe it would be a great fit for fans and readers of clean historical romance. by Rena Groot Prairie Roses Collection

Blog Tour and Giveaway: Convergence by Rena Groot

About the Book

Book:
Convergence

Author: Rena Groot

Genre: Apocalyptic Fiction based on the Book of Revelation

Release date: 2021

Convergence-A Window Into Eternity offers a glimpse into an apocalyptic world that was foretold thousands of years ago. As the climactic showdown between good and evil approaches, the convergence of prophetic signs is accelerating at an alarming pace. Yet, beyond the nightmare, a time of beauty, peace, and love awaits. The book invites readers to witness the unfolding drama as the curtain is pulled back. Within its pages, there are numerous messages to ponder—from trusting God no matter the circumstances to being strong and courageous in the face of adversity. The book reminds us that this life is fleeting, and eternity is at stake. The chapter called The Bride Price describes what Jesus endured to purchase our freedom. The book also reveals the despicable nature of Satan and offers a glimpse into the potential future under the rule of the Antichrist. Most importantly, Convergence-A Window Into Eternity showcases the beauty of Heaven and what it could be like to see Jesus.

The Narrow Path Trilogy is an epic drama based on the book of Revelation that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The series explores some of the deepest issues we face in today’s turbulent times. As fear grips many, the trilogy offers a glimmer of hope by helping readers develop a deeper faith and trust in God. If you enjoyed the Left Behind series, you’ll love this dystopian trilogy that delves even deeper into what Christians could face in the future. The chapter called ‘The Bride Price’ may make you cry. My Review

Convergence: A Window Into Eternity is the final book from The Narrow Path Trilogy by Rena Groot. I have enjoyed the previous books and I believe this one is my favorite of the three. I was surprised at the ending that I would have never predicted. It is under two hundred pages and a quick, fast paced book to read. I thought every single page was one that kept me engaged, as well as, intrigued.

I am giving Convergence: A Window Into Eternity five stars. I highly recommend it for readers who enjoy reading Apocalyptic Fiction based on the Book of Revelation. I am curious to see what other works Rena Groot plans to release.

Blog Tour and Giveaway: Transhuman – Will We Obey God or Play God? by Rena Groot

About the Book

Book: Transhuman – Will We Obey God or Play God?

Author: Rena Groot

Genre: Apocalyptic Fiction

Release date: 2021

This work of apocalyptic fiction is based on reality to come. The lines have been purposely blurred between pure fact and pure fiction. It is a warning based on God’s Word. He has told us a time of unprecedented terror is about to come upon the earth. His wrath will be poured out on sinful and unrepentant humanity in a series of judgements. The intensity and severity of these judgements will be unparalleled in human history. The judgements will be on a global scale that will take place over a seven-year period.

The judgements are reserved for those who have chosen to reject Christ. Even in wrath God is displaying mercy. He wants the lost to be found. All who have rebelled against Him are given a chance to find Him. This is His last and final call to the sons and daughters of Adam. Sadly, many will harden their hearts and turn away from the most beautiful invitation ever to have been extended in all of human history. They will curse God and stay entrenched in their rebellious ways.

God does not hide this awful reality from us. He wants us to be wise and flee from the wrath to come. If we are already His He wants us to warn others—to point them to the narrow path that leads to life. TRANSHUMAN is based on my thoughts of what the world may look like at the halfway point in the Tribulation. The Rapture has already taken place. All who have been invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb are seated. Time will soon be no more. The curtains are opening on the world stage.

My Review

Transhuman: Will We Obey God Or Play God is the second installment from Rena Groot's Narrow Path Trilogy. I thought it was a pretty good read. It is one of those books that are purely from the author's imagination but written so well that can be believable. It really made me really think. It is just around one hundred and thirty pages and easily read in one sitting. I liked it.

I am giving Transhuman: Will We Obey God Or Play God four and a half stars. I recommend it for readers who enjoy reading books that are from the genres of clean science, fantasy, and apocalyptic fiction. I would be interested in more releases from Rena Groot.

My Review

Manhunt - Only the Strong Survive is the exciting beginning Rena Groot’s The Narrow Path Trilogy. I am not a huge fan of this genre; however, I was quickly intrigued with this one and could not put it down until the end. There was a lot going on throughout that made it for an exciting read.  I thought it was full of adventure and danger with a plot that is believable. I really enjoyed it.

I am giving Manhunt - Only the Strong Survive five stars. I highly recommend it for fans and readers of clean Apocalyptic Fiction. I am looking forward to the next installment from The Narrow Path Trilogy to see what possibly could happen next.

My middle name is Rose. I was named after my grandmother, Rose. As far as I know, I never met my father’s mother, Rose. Her life, and my dad’s, were an enigma to me. While writing this book I found out Rose had two other grandchildren I knew nothing about—my brother and sister I didn’t know existed. God is so amazing! (This is attached to the email)

One of my favorite recipes is fry bread. On days we stay in camp, I make enough for the week. It gets a bit hard towards the end of the week, but softens when it’s dipped in stew. Here’s the recipe: Four cups flour, one quarter cup shortening—I use bacon fat—four teaspoons baking powder, three-quarters cup of milk, one teaspoon salt, and oil or fat for frying. If the dough is too thick or thin, Willow said to play with it until it feels just right. It can also be made into a dessert if you put milk, cinnamon, and berries on top.

Johnnycake’s delicious with beans. It’s so easy to make. You need two eggs, two cups of sour milk, one half cup flour, two tablespoons molasses, one teaspoon salt, two cups cornmeal, one teaspoon baking powder, and two tablespoons butter. You mix all the ingredients then bake it in a Dutch oven over the fire until it’s cooked.

Cheese is easy to make. It’s a good way to use the two gallons of milk we get from our cow and the goat each day. We are getting so much we have been sharing. Willow showed me how to gently heat the milk in a pail on the fire until it’s blood warm. Rennet is needed to make cheese, so I use a flask made from a cow’s stomach because it has rennet in it. I had no idea. I pour the hot milk into the stomach flask and wait. After it’s been left a few hours, I pour it out, break up the curds, and mix them with salt. I wrap the curds in a cloth and put them  in a round wooden frame called “the follower.” (Thankfully, Lachlan had the good sense to buy one of those also). The curds are pressed in the follower. The cheese is usually aged for at least two months before it can be eaten.

My Review

Rose is Rena Groot’s contribution to the multi author series, Prairie Rose's Collection. I thought it was a great addition to the series. I enjoyed getting to know Rose and Lachlan. Their story was sweet, entertaining and a delight. I found to be a slightly predictable but still definitely still worth reading. It was an easy book to read that I had no problem to read in one sitting. It was interesting to get a glimpse of what it was like to travel on the Oregon Trail. Overall, a wonderful book to read.

Rose will be getting four and a half stars from me. I recommend it for readers who enjoy reading clean Historical Romantic Fiction. I would be interested in reading for books written by Rena Groot in the future.

I received a digital copy of Rose from the publisher, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
