I have learned over time to embrace the Sunshine-ness that is my name. Yes, I may not always be joyful or exuberant all the time, but I have learned that if I rely on my friends, my family, and my faith, I can conquer each day head-on and live every moment with an expectation of goodness.

And that’s what I wanted to share in this book, Be The Sunshine. It’s not a book about how to be happy or seven ways to stay positive. These pages are about being yourself, showing the world your true colors, and being mindful of the moment. These chapters contain personal stories so that we all can experience love and joy for ourselves as well as shining that light on those around us!

So, just follow my voice. When it comes to being the sunshine, well, I know the way!

My Review

Each part includes her own personal stories and commentary that show encouragement for her readers. Scriptures are added all throughout the book, also. I love her tips and positivity that I will try to use for myself, as well as, continuously to have God’s presence known in life. 

I am giving Be The Sunshine five plus stars. I believe readers who enjoy reading clean and inspiring nonfiction / self help books.

But my friends Rafa, Brian and his sister help me to look at life a bit differently. My happiness may not be about chasing the promotion as much as it is about following my heart.

Whatever I decide, even in the midst of all this confusion, I hope I can find my Happily Ever After!

I remember when I was writing the pages for Once Upon a Time… In a Dental Office. I was a receptionist at a prestigious Dentistry. I worked with these two very handsome – very charming – Dentists. And the truth is, I’d be FLOSSED without them!

And I put the pen to paper about all my personal experiences in my book. “Walking down the hallway, I hear the whizzing and churning of dental equipment as I observe room after room of patients getting their teeth cleaned from plaque buildup, or teeth getting surgically extracted or my least favorite, hearing the groans from patients receiving a root canal.” (pg. 39)

And I created a world inspired by those two Dentists. Receptionist Kay Vity is sought after by Dr. Chase Hatchett and Doctor Brian Alchan at Hour Glass Dental. And TOOTH be told, it’s a Love Story that is sure to make you “SAY AAH!”

My Review

Once Upon a Time..In a Dental Office is a delightful read from the talented author, Sunshine Rodgers. I loved reading this romance between the characters. It was a quick book for me to read and was easily able to finish it in one sitting. There are a few scenes that made giggle and laugh out loud and others that just warmed me heart. Overall, a good, fun, and entertaining story.

I am going to give Once Upon a Time..In a Dental Office four and a half stars. I believe fans and readers of clean romance will want to give a read. I would love to read upcoming releases from Sunshine Rodgers in the future.

My Review

The Characters Within is a delightful little book by Sunshine Rodgers. I have enjoyed other books this author in the past and this one is no different. At just over one hundred pages, it was an easy read. I enjoyed the most important lesson, as well as, a great reminder in the book of searching who are you and finding yourself within. I was intrigued to keep reading to find out which way Brittany’s path would take her to see who she really is. Overall, a good, quick story. 

I am giving The Characters Within four stars. Readers who enjoy reading clean and inspirational book. I look forward to reading more like this by Sunshine Rodgers in the future.

My Review

God The Father Jesus The Big Brother Holy Spirit The Best Friend takes readers further into the relationship of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I appreciated the author’s words throughout the book. I loved the scripture she uses within the pages. I felt like I had a better understanding of the Trinity after reading it.
