Since I was a child in elementary school, the only way I could understand my assignments, I had to write down them down by hand. I was curious when I heard about the NKJV New Testament, Tracing Edition: Engaging the Scripture Word by Word. I love the idea of writing down the word of the Bible as I follow along and reading it. I have to admit though, I was a little bit skeptical about how well it work. Once I received my copy, I was quite pleased. I immediately opened it up to the Book of Matthew. I wanted to test to see how well the pages would hold up with my writing. I used a regular ball point pen on the first line, a gel pen on the second line, and on the third one, I used a child's grade marker. I was happy that there was no bleed through to the next page. I did a small test with an art marker and it did bleed a bit though. I love the large print size that made it easy for me read and write, as well as the binding that makes the Bible lay flat no matter where you are in it. In addition to the Biblical text, there are Topical Reading Plans, such as: Hope, Comfort, and Peace. I found this Bible to be Blessing for me and look forward to opening it up everyday and write line by line.
I going to give NKJV New Testament, Tracing Edition: Engaging the Scripture Word by Word five stars. I highly recommend it for those who are looking a new way in reading the New Testament. I believe it would make a great gift.

The Blobs: Vol One: Crash Land! is a fun filled graphic novel by Justin Stuart. I thought this was a cute story to read with valuable lessons to learn for young readers. It was a delightful and entertaining tale to read. The Blobs: Vol One: Crash Land! is illustrated by the talented artist, Rick Douglas. The pictures were fun to look at while following the story. I am going to give The Blobs: Vol One: Crash Land! five stars. I highly recommend it for readers between the ages of eight and twelve years of age. I honestly wished He Calls Me Daughter was released many years ago. I have had a difficult relationship with my own father in my earlier years and then nonexistent in the last 20. That is a wound that has been hard for me to understand. This film really spoke of my heart. I understood the other women's heartache, self worth, and confusion they felt. I cried several times while watching it. It was inspiring hearing their stories and seeing how they discovered that they were God's daughters. What a beautiful realization that I, too, am God's daughter.
I am giving He Calls Me Daughter five stars. I highly recommend it for women, particularly for those who have had absent / distant father.

My Review:
Still Hope took me on an emotional journey. I admired Hope's fight for survival and bravery with trying to move on from the horrors she experienced. The movie shows the trauma for those who have are currently being sex trafficked, living through it, being rescued and the after effects that follows. I found myself tearing up throughout seeing the realness of what humans will put others through. Truly horrific to see. However, I loved seeing the beauty of God's love that Hope comes to discover.
I would love to have given Still Hope one hundred stars if I could. Because of the sensitive themes within the film, I highly recommend it for viewers of sixteen and up.

My Review:
When I first saw the trailer for Christmas at the Cabin, I knew it would be a movie for me. I jumped at the opportunity to view for myself. I was far from being disappointed. I thought it was a delightful movie to watch. While I was entertained by the comedy, my heart warmed at the lessons learned. It was a beautiful reminder of allow God lead along the way, giving grace and being kind to ourselves. I thought it is a great Christmas movie that could be added to an annual viewing every Holiday season. I loved it.
I would love to have given Christmas at the Cabin one hundred stars if I could. I highly recommend it for viewers of all ages. It would be perfect for a family to start off their Christmas season by watching it together.

Peace of God Bible is a beautiful New King James Version Bible. Each book of the Bible starts off with a little history about who wrote it, when it was estimated written, key verses, and the theme of the book. I enjoyed the Peace Notes sections all throughout this Bible. The back of the study Bible, there is: Topical Index of Devotions, Features Index, NKJV Concise Concordance,, and colorful maps. I liked the soft cover that made it easy for me hold on to, the larger text, and the two ribbons included for book marking.

I have to admit I was not sure what I would think of Grow at first. I thought it was potentially just another cheesy little movie. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how it is so much more than that. I absolutely loved Charlie and her ability to show those around her the power of love, patience, and hope. She was unfortunately given a sad life of not being wanted and began her search of belonging. What she discovers along the way was so heartwarming and the lessons that so many of us can learn from. The movie is heartwarming, funny, and kid friendly. I thought it was great.
I am going to give Grow a very well deserved five stars. I highly recommend it for viewers of all ages. It would be perfect for a family to spend time together.

I enjoyed watching Dot Conner: Webtective. It was fun and entertaining. It was nice to be able to watch something with my kids without worrying about surprising content that I normally do not want them viewing. It was great see a film of faith, inspiration, entertainment and wholesomeness. Dot and her friends are great role models for the youngest of viewers. We loved it.

My Review:
I loved watching The King of Kings. I enjoyed seeing this animated version of Jesus and life. It begins with his birth, his baptism, teachings, and beyond. I liked how it showed a loving father spending time with his young child to tell him about Jesus. I thought it was a great way to teach everyone - young and old - about the King of Kings - Jesus Christ. I could not help but to smile all throughout the movie.
I am giving The King of Kings a very well deserved five plus stars. I highly recommend it for families of all ages. It would be a great addition for a family movie night. My children are teens now and they even enjoyed it as much as me.
