An Unresolved Mystery Holds an Amish Community in Limbo

In book two of A Mifflin County Mystery series, Rosa Petersheim’s disappearance continues to cause suspicion and pain to swirl in the Big Valley.

Ada’s best friend, Rosa, disappeared a year ago and still has not been found. In their grief and confusion, Ada and Rosa’s boyfriend, Ephraim, have grown very close. But some in the community feel Ephraim is responsible for Rosa’s disappearance. Now Rosa’s younger sister is making accusations against Ephraim that can’t be true, and he pulls away from Ada, feeling betrayed. A fire set by an arsonist might finally be the thing to reveal secrets that have long been dividing this community of friends and family. But will it be too late for love between the peacemaker and the suspect?

My Review:

The Peacemaker is the second installment from Wanda E Brunstetter's Mifflin County Mystery series. I thought it was a great follow up from the first book, The Protector. Since this is a series, it would be best for the reader to read the books in order. I once again was immersed in the mystery of what happened to Rosa and how it has affected all involved. I wanted to keep reading to see what else has happened. I thought it was a page turner.
The Peacemaker is no doubt a five star read for me. I believe fans of Amish fiction, as well as, clean cozy mysteries, will not want to miss out on reading it. I hope to get my hands on the next installment from Mifflin County Mystery series, The Pretender, to see where the suspense leads to next.
I received a paperback copy of Wanda E Brunstetter's The Peacemaker from the publisher, but was not required to write a review, nor a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
