Britt Bradford and Zander Ford have been the best of friends since they met thirteen years ago. Unbeknown to Britt, Zander has been in love with her for just as long.

Independent and adventurous Britt channels her talent into creating chocolates at her hometown shop. Zander is a bestselling author who's spent the past 18 months traveling the world. He's achieved a great deal but still lacks the only thing that ever truly mattered to him--Britt's heart.

When Zander's uncle dies of mysterious causes, he returns to Merryweather, Washington, to investigate, and Britt is immediately there to help. Although this throws them into close proximity, both understand that an attempt at romance could jeopardize their once-in-a-lifetime friendship. But while Britt is determined to resist any change in their relationship, Zander finds it increasingly difficult to keep his feelings hidden.

As they work together to uncover his uncle's tangled past, will the truth of what lies between them also, finally, come to light?

My Review:

Sweet on You is book three from Becky Wade's series, A Bradford Sisters Romance. I have read the first two books in the series and this one is by far my favorite of the three. Zander and Britt were cute together. I loved how they got involved trying to solve the mystery of his uncle’s life and who he really was. I love family history, their mysteries and trying to solve them. So, this part of the book was fascinating to me. I could not have guessed or predicted how it all turned out.

I give Sweet on You a well deserved five plus stars and I highly recommend it. This book is most definitely worth a read.

My Review

On a Summer Tide begins Suzanne Woods Fisher new series, Three Sisters Island. Widowed Father, Paul Grayson shocks his three daughters by selling his home and buying an island! How will this event affect them all?

I have to admit; I was not sure how I would like On a Summer Tide. I am not used to Miss Fisher writing contemporary novels that did not involve the Amish. After reading this, I realize that she is so talented, that she can write a fantastic novel in any genre she decides to. Within the first few pages, I was hooked and held my attention until the end. I enjoyed every single word.

I highly recommend On a Summer Tide and am giving it a well deserved five plus stars. I can not wait to find out which Grayson sister will be featured in book two of the Three Sisters Island series.

Review: Living Lies by Natalie Walters

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Blurb:

In the little town of Walton, Georgia, everybody knows your name--but no one knows your secret. At least that's what Lane Kent is counting on when she returns to her hometown with her five-year-old son. Dangerously depressed after the death of her husband, Lane is looking for hope. What she finds instead is a dead body.

Lane must work with Walton's newest deputy, Charlie Lynch, to uncover the truth behind the murder. But when that truth hits too close to home, she'll have to decide if saving the life of another is worth the cost of revealing her darkest secret.

Debut novelist Natalie Walters pulls you to the edge of your seat on the first page and keeps you there until the last in this riveting story that will have you believing no one is defined by their past.

My Review:

Living Lies is a pretty good debut by Natalie Walters. It, also, begins her series, Harbored Secrets. This book is full of mystery and suspense with stay on the edge of your seat action. I did not find this tale predictable at all. I was left guessing up until the last few pages.

I give Living Lies a well deserved five plus stars. I look forward to the next installment from Harbored Secrets series. Well done, Miss Walters, well done!

Review: Wooing Cadie McCaffrey by Bethany Turner

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Blurb:

After four years with her boyfriend, Cadie McCaffrey is thinking of ending things. Convinced Will doesn't love her in the "forever" way she loves him, Cadie believes it's time for her to let him go before life passes her by. When a misunderstanding leads to a mistake, leaving her hurt, disappointed, and full of regret, she finally sends him packing.

But for Will, the end of their relationship is only the beginning of his quest to figure out how to be the man Cadie wanted him to be. With the dubious guidance of his former pro-athlete work friends and tactics drawn from Cadie's favorite romantic comedies, Will attempts to win her back. It's a foolproof plan. What could possibly go wrong?
Bethany Turner is back with more of the heart and humor readers love. Anyone who enjoys a good romance or binges romantic comedies on Netflix will devour this delightful story.

My Review:

Wooing Cadie McCaffrey is a fun and entertaining read by Bethany Turner. I loved Will and Cadie's story. I found myself laughing at times and tearing up at others.

I give Wooing Cadie McCaffrey four and a half stars. It is such a beautiful and story story of love, faith, forgiveness, and having second chances. I look forward to where Miss Turner takes her readers to next. I recommend it for readers who enjoy sweet and clean contemporary fiction.
