My Review:
Foster's Leash is a sweet little children's picture book by Sarah Sommer. Within the pages, I was introduced to a little girl, whose family are fosters for homeless dogs while waiting for their forever home. She quickly bonds with Pepper and it was cute taking the journey with the two. It is one of those books that will make you giggle and smile, as well as, make you tear up a little. I thought it was a heartwarming tale to read that teaches some valuable lessons for everyone of all ages to learn from.
Foster's Leash is illustrated by the talented artist BulankinaKa. Her pictures are appealing to look at, perfectly goes with the story, and the colors are so vivid and helps bring Pepper to life. Even the smallest of eyes will have their attention held all throughout the book.
I found that Foster's Leash to be a five star read. I recommend it for children between the ages of two and nine years old. It would make a great way for parents to bond with their little ones while reading it. I would love to see it in classrooms, as well as, in public children's' libraries. I hope to see what other stories Sarah Sommer has in store for her fans.
I received a hard cover copy of Sarah Sommer's Foster's Leash from the publisher, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
Sounds like a fantastic book for young children
