For a year, Jane hides behind her carefully constructed suburban façade. Then a true crime podcaster revisits the unsolved case, and her son, Noah, a podcast addict, discovers the guilt-soaked letters Jane has been writing to the victim.

When Jane resolves to confess, Noah begs her for time. He’s sure the truth about that night is more complicated. Terrified of what her imprisonment would do to her family, Jane reluctantly agrees to Noah’s request. But as their search for answers pulls them deeper into the secrets of their seemingly safe neighborhood, Jane soon realizes that she’s not the only one hiding something.

Dark, twist-filled, and emotionally charged, A Quiet Kind of Wrong explores guilt, family loyalty, and how far we’ll go to protect the lives we’ve created, even when they're built on lies.

My Review:

I have read previously books from the talented author, Mary Frances Hill, and was excited to have the opportunity to read her newest release, A Quiet Kind Of Wrong. It was an honor to get my hands and eyes on it. It was easy for me to quickly get hooked on this story. I thought it was a fabulous read. It as full of suspense, mystery, action, drama, and danger. i enjoyed getting to know the main character, Jane Taylor.  I found she was relatable and felt as though I knew her in real life. It was great taking this adventure with her and seeing how her story would end. She gets involved in a lot of twists and turns along the way. I never knew what would happen from scene to scene. There were times thinking to myself on what would I do in those situations. I had to continue turning the pages until I read the very last page.

I am going to give A Quiet Kind Of Wrong a very well deserved five plus stars. I highly recommend it for readers who love to read thrillers. I would love to read more like this one in the near future from Mary Frances Hill in the future. I believe this one should not be missed and most definitely worth reading.

I received a paperback copy of Mary Frances Hill's A Quiet Kind Of Wrong from the publisher, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.

TITUS AND THE EMPERORS COIN Series Book Tour Giveaway

My Review:

I have read and enjoyed previous books from talented author, Dennis Conrad. I was excited to get my hands on his newest release where he teamed up with a new to me author, Derinda Babcock, Titus and the Christian Coin: An Adventure of Faith and Freedom. I was far from being disappointed. I loved going back in time to when the Roman Empire was in power and Christianity was in its infancy. It was quite the journey to take and seeing how it was like living back in those times. I admired Titus and his bravery, courage and determination. I thought his story was beautiful and inspiring to read. He is a great role model to follow. He was realistic and the historical details made me feel as though I was right there along with him. Even though I am not the targeted audience for this book, I thought it was a great read and had no problem reading it full in no time.

I am going to give Titus and the Christian Coin: An Adventure of Faith and Freedom a very well deserved five plus stars. I highly recommend it for teen readers who are looking for a fabulous and clean historical fiction. I would love to read more books from Dennis Conrad, as well as, Derinda Babcock.

I received a paperback copy of Conrad and Babcock's Titus and the Christian Coin: An Adventure of Faith and Freedom from the publisher, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.

My Review:

I found that Unexpected Altars: Meeting God in Everyday Moments is a beautiful devotional compiled by the Oakland Community Church. It is a little bit different than most devotionals I have used in the past. It has over one hundred personal stories that direct readers to beauty of God's love. These stories include scriptures and prayers. I thought they offer hope, encouragement, inspiration, and love. I liked the larger print size, which was a plus for me. Most of them are only two to three pages long, making it easy to keep reading on each one quickly. It is perfect to be added to any busy schedule. I believe it would be a wonderful way to read each one every morning to start off the day with a special message. I personally loved it and believe it should not be missed.

I am going to give Unexpected Altars: Meeting God in Everyday Moments a very well deserved  five plus stars. I highly recommend it for readers who are looking for an encouraging devotional, as well as, reading inspiring true stories full of encouragement. I believe it would make a wonderful gift for someone. I would love to see more compilations like this one from the Oakland Community Church in the future.

I received a paperback copy of Oakland Community Church's Unexpected Altars: Meeting God in Everyday Moments from the publisher, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
