My Review: 

I have to admit, I am usually reluctant to go outside my comfort zone when it comes to my book reading. I am not a big fan when it comes to fantasy/. However, when I first heard about Dorothy Dreyer's series called Blade Bound Saga, my interest was piqued. I was happy to have the opportunity to start off with the first one called A Dagger in the Ivy. At first, I was not sure what to think and it was a little slower for me. Once, I got past the first few chapters, I was hooked. It was over four hundred pages full of action, romance, and adventure. It was magical to leave this present day of stress and chaos and taken to a new world. I loved the main character, Celeste. She was one that is easily admired and adored. I liked the suspense as the secrets unfold and seeing how it would end for her. 

I am going to give A Dagger in the Ivy four stars. I recommend it for readers who enjoy diving into fantasy romance / romantasy. I am looking forward to reading the next installment from the Blade Bound Saga, A Sabre in the Hemlock, to see what Dorothy Dreyer has in store for her characters and fans next.
