My Review: 

My favorite genre is historical fiction, particularly the Colonial America era. Lori Benton does not disappoint with her newest release The King’s Mercy. She perfectly captures how I have envisioned my ancestors lived back in those times. I was swept away to a beautiful story of hope, faith and inspiration. 

I give My King’s Mercy a well deserved five plus stars. I highly recommend it for readers who enjoy well written early American historical fiction.

Review: 

Many Sparrows is the latest release by Lori Benton. If a reader has not read anything by this author, they don’t know what they are missing. She is one of my favorite authors and Many Sparrows did not disappoint. It is set during my favorite time periods to read- Colonial America. I just love Clare. She is such a great character in this book. Such a strong willed and determined woman. Jeremiah is the perfect hero that she really needed to help her through the tragedies she experiences. I did not find the story to be predictable at all. I never knew what would happen next and could not help but to keep turning the pages. This book is so hard to put down. It is full of adventure and action, heartache and redemption, faith and inspiration. I would give 100 stars if I could. It is so so good. One of the best I have read this year. Highly recommended.
