I adored the first book from Natascha Birovljev’s Rocky Mountain Series and was excited to continue it in the second installment, Shadow Crow of the Rocky Mountains. I was far from disappointed. It was another fabulous journey through the wilderness of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Since this is a series, I do caution the reader that it would be best to start from the beginning to have a better experience in reading the books. I enjoyed to meet back up with Lyla from book one and seeing her interacting with Chuck. I thought this book dealt more with emotions than the first. I wanted to keep reading to see what would happen for Lyla and Chuck. I liked watching to two grow from chapter to chapter. Once again, I found myself taking another adventure and journeying within the Canadian Rocky Mountains and feeling like I was part of the character’s world. I loved it.
I am giving Shadow Crow of the Rocky Mountains a very well deserved five plus stars. I highly recommend it for readers who enjoy reading western fiction set in a beautiful and mountainous wilderness. I am happy to continue on the Rocky Mountain Series with book 3. Shadow Grizzly of the Rocky Mountains, to see where else Natascha Birovljev will take her characters to next. I can not wait for it.
