My story has a lot of elements that read more like a Hollywood screenplay. The depth of darkness in my life seemed almost surreal, like a horrible nightmare that I could not wake up from.

My Review

I found Nancy Major’s life story in her memoir, A Wretch Like Me: A Modern-Day Mary Magdalene Saved by Grace, is one that will speak to so many other readers. She does not hold back on what she had been through, the trauma, mistakes, and what she saw as shameful secrets. I admire her courage and honesty all throughout the book. I was inspired on how she was able to overcome and become who she is today. So beautiful way to remind us all that it is never too late to be redeemed and find God’s love.

I am giving A Wretch Like Me: A Modern-Day Mary Magdalene Saved by Grace a very deserved five plus stars. I highly recommend it for readers who like to read inspiring memoirs.
