Ben and Kiyanda Young are the proud parents of an amazing set of fraternal twins, Zara and Owen. As parents, they promote individuality among their children while encouraging their twins to support and rely on one another. The special bond between Zara and Owen is what inspired the Youngs to write Twin Power, the first in a series of award-winning books highlighting the unique relationship that twins share. In addition to being Zara and Owen’s parents, Ben is a gastroenterologist and Kiyanda is a surgeon, both with medical practices in Virginia.

My Review:
I enjoyed reading the first book from Benjamin Young MD and Kiyanda Young MD’s Twin Power series, also, titled Twin Power. I was excited to have the opportunity to read the follow up to it with Twin Power: The Best Snow Day Ever. It was fun to see the twins, Simone and Sebastian, working together to clean their rooms so they can go out and play in the snow. It was delight to see them with their friends. The two do have to learn of how to use their Twin Power to get over a disappointment and making a good team.
Twin Power: The Best Snow Day Ever is beautifully illustrated by the talented author, Imre Papp. I loved their depictions of what Sebastian and Simone look it. It was seeing the visual of the story as I read it and a perfect addition to it. I know the pictures are a great way to keep the youngest of readers’ attention from the beginning until the ending. The last few pages of the book has activities for the young ones to work on.
Five stars is what I give Twin Power: The Best Snow Day Ever. I believe it would be a great fit for families with young twins. I would love to read more Twin Power books from the writing duo Benjamin Young MD and Kiyanda Young MD in the future.
I received a soft copy of the Youngs’ Twin Power: The Best Snow Day Ever from the publisher, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
