My Review:

The Frights of Fiji begins Sunayna Prasad’s series, Alyssa McCarthy’s Magical Missions. It is, also, my first introduction to this author’s books. I thought this one was a pretty good read. It was full of adventure, action, and magic. 

In The Frights of Fiji, readers are introduced to Alyssa McCarthy, who is a 12 years old girl and has been kidnapped by a sorcerer. I found this young girl having so much bravery and courage. I admired her determination to survive. She goes to a whole new world that she never she would experience. I thought her story to be entertaining and fun to read. I enjoyed some of the suspense and mystery of it. I was constantly wondering where she would end up next. I loved the author’s imagination. She crafted such a wonderful tale that so many readers would enjoy. I loved taking this journey with Alyssa. She was a great role model and she learned some very important lessons that so many other readers of all ages could learn from, as well. 

I am giving The Frights of Fiji four and a half stars. I believe many younger readers who enjoy fantasy will enjoy reading this one. I would have no problem allowing my ten year old reading this book. I know she will think it is as good as I did. I look forward to read the second installment from the Alyssa McCarthy’s Magical Missions series, A Curse of Mayhem, to see where Alyssa ends up next.

My Review:

The New Enchantress is the third installment from the exciting series, Alyssa McCarthy's Magical Missions by Sunayna Prasad. I enjoyed the first two books, A Curse of Mayhem and The Frights of Fiji, and this proves that the series just keeps getting better and better. Since this is a series, it would be a good idea to start with the first book to get a good grasp as what is going on. Alyssa’s story would flow so much easier for readers. 

In The New Enchantress, readers are able to catch up with Alyssa to find out what other exciting journey will take them on. Once again, like in The Frights of Fiji and A Curse of Mayhem, there is a lot of adventure, action and magic. I believe she is a good influence for younger readers to learn from. I admire how strong, brave, and determined she is throughout the book. This is one of those tales that is not easy to predict and one that kept entertained from start to finish. 

I am giving The New Enchantress a very well deserved five plus stars. I am hoping this one is not the last book from the Alyssa McCarthy’s Magical Missions series. I am not quite ready to let Alyssa go. I believe readers between the ages of ten and fourteen years old and love magical tales, would not want to miss this one.

My Review: 

A Curse of Mayhem continues Sunayna Prasad’s series, Alyssa McCarthy's Magical Missions. I enjoyed the first book in the series, The Frights of Fiji, but I enjoyed this one so much more. Since it is part of a series, I believe it would be best to start with one book one. I am so glad I did so. This is one of those stories I do not want to miss out on anything that had in a previous book.

Once again, readers catch up with Alyssa and go on quite the journey in A Curse of Mayhem. Like in The Frights of Fiji, there is a fair share of adventure, action and magic. I think Alyssa is a role model for younger readers. She is admirable with her strength, determination, bravery and courage. I loved there were a few twists and turns that I could not have predicted. It was entertaining trying to figure out where she would end up and what she would encounter next. There are a couple of lessons that I loved to learn within the pages and it was such a great and quick page turner.

I am giving A Curse of Mayhem a very well deserved five stars. I would love for there to be a third installment from the Alyssa McCarthy’s Magical Missions to release in the near future. I believe many younger readers who enjoy fantasy will enjoy reading this one. In my opinion, it is one not one to be missed and a must read.

My  Review:

The Frights of Fiji begins Sunayna Prasad’s series, Alyssa McCarthy’s Magical Missions. It is, also, my first introduction to this author’s books. I thought this one was a pretty good read. It was full of adventure, action, and magic.

In The Frights of Fiji, readers are introduced to Alyssa McCarthy, who is a 12 years old girl and has been kidnapped by a sorcerer. I found this young girl having so much bravery and courage. I admired her determination to survive. She goes to a whole new world that she never she would experience. I thought her story to be entertaining and fun to read. I enjoyed some of the suspense and mystery of it. I was constantly wondering where she would end up next. I loved the author’s imagination. She crafted such a wonderful tale that so many readers would enjoy. I loved taking this journey with Alyssa. She was a great role model and she learned some very important lessons that so many other readers of all ages could learn from, as well.

I am giving The Frights of Fiji four and a half stars. I believe many younger readers who enjoy fantasy will enjoy reading this one. I would have no problem allowing my ten year old reading this book. I know she will think it is as good as I did. I look forward to read the second installment from the Alyssa McCarthy’s Magical Missions series, A Curse of Mayhem, to see where Alyssa ends up next.
