Synopsis
Charley flashback to an incident in college where Katherine destroyed their room and threw a surprise party for Charley. She was upset about the surprise but listened to Katherine’s advice to pivot. Katherine is again surprising her and she’s asking for advice on whether it's time for her to pivot again? Or what’s next.
New client is Randall - he’s in a lot of pain, disheveled. He is violent, self-harms and he needs to be restrained. He’s a homeless, addicted veteran who served in Vietnam. He is experiencing PTSD and seeing things.
Scott, the hospice house manager, wants to keep Randall at the house against all the nurses' advice.
Charley, Janey and Scott discover that Randall has a daughter, Deb, and reunites them.
Randall shares his combat experience with Charley and she shares God’s mercy and compassion with him.
The staff organized a wedding for Deb so Randall could be there.
In her conversation with God, she asks for His guidance to help Katherine and for the courage to do what He is asking of her.

My Review:
I was excited to have the opportunity to watch episode 3 from
the new Pure Flix series, Going Home. I have to admit I was not sure what to
think of it at the beginning. Randall was not a lovable character at first. The
nurses and staff obviously had the same thoughts. After a little bit of
kindness and understanding, he began to open up. Randall is a perfect example
why I should never judge anyone and assume their character. I never know what
someone is dealing on the inside, what lead them to the paths they have taken
and that kindness does go a long way. I fell in love with Randall. I could see
through his gruffness and see his brokenness, heartache and I could relate with
his PTSD and the trauma he experienced. His story was extremely heart breaking
but yet heartwarming. I cried like a baby the last fifteen minutes of the
episode. So, I warn other watchers to keep their tissues handy. Such a beautiful
tale of the power of forgiveness, being less judgmental and to show more compassion
for one another. I loved it. I am going to give episode three five plus stars
and am looking forward to watching the other episodes in the series. I highly
recommend it for other watchers who love inspiring and faith filled shows. They
will not regret watching this one. I think I have a new show to look forward to
new episodes as they release.
I received a digital link to watch the third episode of Going
Home from Pure Flix, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one
hundred percent my own honest opinion.
