My Favorite Travel Spot

I have been blessed to travel all over the world. I have traveled for pleasure and for business — to grand cities, little villages, vast mountain ranges, and jungle paths. I have explored the richness of ancient buildings and the wonder of the Grand Canyon. I have loved and learned from it all. I have enjoyed traveling with my family and grandchildren and had the opportunity to see the world through their eyes while teaching them to see through mine.

Wherever I have been blessed to roam on this great planet, I’ve been moved by the people. While they may be different, somehow, they’re all the same living their lives and being part of the human experience.

So, you see, my favorite trip has always been, the next one!

It is a good thing we have a large house these days. If we use our imagination, we can pretend we are walking through the airport changing planes. From the patio to the bar, we can earn frequent walker miles!

But if I must choose my favorite destination, it would be Europe. I love going to Italy. It's one of my favorite places on Earth, specifically the Sorrento peninsula on the Amalfi Coast — just fantastic. I love the people, pace of living, the food — everything about it is just wonderful.

I also love going to Paris, which is our next planned big trip. Now that the pandemic has eased, we no longer must walk through the house pretending we're in an airport, but by next Spring, we will be in Paris. That is, without question, my favorite city in the entire world, and I have been blessed to travel throughout the world quite a bit.  I have seen many, many wonderful cities, but Paris is my favorite city of all, and I am so happy to be able to say that we will be going there again soon.

I always wanted to write a story about Paris, I only write from lived experiences, so perhaps this trip, after the world was closed for more than a year, will give me inspiration.

My Review:

To Every Page a Turning: One Life's Journey is a good debut by Carl Buccellato. I have to say his talent really shines through this book. It was an easy read at less than two hundred pages and I had no problem reading the whole story in one sitting. I was fascinated from the start and all the way to the end. Such a beautiful read.

In To Every Page a Turning: One Life's Journey, readers will be taking back in time. It tells about an older man who finds his old writings from the past and finds himself going back in time. The journey begins with during the 1950s. He is reminded about how he was about to find himself throughout his life. He experiences a lot in his lifetime. He has to learn about hope, faith, peace, and what inspires him. If a reader is like me, they will be brought to tears at times, so I advise others to keep tissues handy.

I will be giving To Every Page a Turning: One Life's Journey a very well deserved five plus stars. I recommend it for readers who enjoy reading war fiction. It is one that will inspire many and should not be missed. It is definitely worth a read. I would love to read more by Carl Buccellato in the future.

I received a paperback copy of To Every Page a Turning: One Life's Journey from the publisher. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
