My Review:
102 Days of Lying About Lauren is a great debut for the talented author, Maura Jortner. I adored this story of friendship and hope. I thought this story to be a charming tale with lovable characters. I could see myself in Mouse / Lauren. Even though, there was a lot of drama involved, there was, also, a sprinkle of humor all throughout. I loved it.
102 Days of Lying About Lauren will be getting a very well deserved five plus stars from me. I highly recommend it for readers who enjoy reading middle grade fiction. I would be interested in reading more by Maura Jortner in the near future and seeing what she has in store for her characters next.

About Maura Jortner:
Maura Jortner teaches creative writing and literature at
Baylor University. She lives in Texas with her husband, two daughters, and a
cat that can do tricks. Though she doesn’t do big roller coasters, she loves a
good haunted house attraction. This is her debut novel.
