Synopsis: 

Sound of Freedom, based on the incredible true story, shines a light on even the darkest
of places. After rescuing a young boy from ruthless child traffickers, a federal agent
learns the boy’s sister is still captive and decides to embark on a dangerous mission to s
ave her. With time running out, he quits his job and jour neys deep into the Colombian
jungle, putting his life on the line to free her from a fate worse than death.

My Review:

Sound of Freedom is a fabulous movie to watch. I was not sure what to expect at first. I was quickly captivated as events unfold. It does cover some difficult situations and made it hard to watch. It really is heart breaking that this movie is based on true life for so many in the United States and around the world. I wanted to see how it would end for the children and if they could be saved. The main characters were so brave, courageous, determined and admirable to continue the fight to save as many children as possible. I do warn other movie watchers to keep those tissues ready because they will need them. 

I am giving Sound of Freedom a very well deserved five plus stars. I highly recommend it for viewers who enjoy watching drama filled but inspiring movies based on true events. Because of the content and some language, I would caution that it would be a better fit for families of ages of thirteen and up. 

I received an early screener link to view Sound of Freedom, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
