About the Author

Pam is an Irish writer of historical fiction with a particular love of the late Victorian era and early 20th century. She is fascinated by all things 19th century, from food and clothes to architecture and social history. She is patiently awaiting the invention of time travel, but in the meantime, indulges her love of the past by writing about it. Her debut novel, The Bowes Inheritance, was awarded the BRAG Medallion in 2017. It was shortlisted for the Carousel Aware Prize 2016; made 'Editor's Choice' by the Historical Novel Society; long-listed for the Historical Novel Society 2016 Indie Award; and chosen as a Discovered Diamond in February 2017. In April 2018, Pam published an anthology of some previously published short reads, along with some new work. Her collection of short stories is entitled, Past Imperfect, and features stories set in such diverse settings as WW1 Dublin, the sinking of the Lusitania and a lonely haunted lighthouse.

My Review

No Stone Unturned is the beginning of Pam Lecky's series, The Lucy Lawrence Mysteries. I enjoyed this historical fiction. It has mystery and suspense. Lucy gets caught up into quite an adventure. It was fun trying to figure out where she would end up next.

I am giving No Stone Unturned four stars. I look forward to what will happen next with Lucy in the second installment from The Lucy Lawrence Mysteries series. I recommend this book for readers who enjoy historical mystery.

  Colin Dodds is a writer with several novels and books of poetry to his name. He grew up in Massachusetts and lived in California briefly, before finishing his education in New York City. Since then, he’s made his living as a journalist, editor, copywriter and video producer. Over the last seven years, his writing has appeared in more than three hundred publications including Gothamist, Painted Bride Quarterly, and The Washington Post, and praised by luminaries including Norman Mailer. His poetry collection Spokes of an Uneven Wheel was published by Main Street Rag Publishing Company in 2018. Colin also writes screenplays, has directed a short film, and built a twelve-foot-high pyramid out of PVC pipe, plywood and zip ties. One time, he rode his bicycle a hundred miles in a day. Another Broken Wizard is my first introduction to Colin Dodds’s work. It is one of those books that has quite a unique story line. Which was a little refreshing to have something different to read. There were a few scenes that I was confused or thought was a little slow, but would pick up quickly. I had the pleasure of listening to the audio version and thought the narrator, Curt Bonnem, brought out the best of the book. His performance was great. 

I am giving Another Broken Wizard three stars. I believe it is worth a read and many readers would enjoy it.

About the Author

T.J. London is a rebel, liberal, lover, fighter, diehard punk, and pharmacist-turned-author who loves history. As an author her goal is to fill in the gaps, writing stories about missing history, those little places that are so interesting yet sadly forgotten. Her favorite time periods to write in are first and foremost the American Revolutionary War, the French Revolution, the French and Indian War, the Russian Revolution and the Victorian Era. Her passions are traveling, writing, reading, barre, and sharing a glass of wine with her friends, while she collects experiences in this drama called life. She is a native of Metropolitan Detroit (but secretly dreams of being a Londoner) and resides there with her husband Fred and her beloved cat and writing partner Mickey.

My Review 

The Turncoat, book three from TJ London's series, The Rebels and Redcoats Saga. This is my first introduction to this series. I have got to get my hands on the first two installments to see what transpired previously. This one was so very good! I did not want to put Dellis and John's story down. I never knew what happened in the following scenes. 
I give The Turncoat five plus stars and highly recommend it for those who love American Revolutionary War era novels.
