My Review

An Amish Christmas Wedding is a collection of four Amish Christmas inspired stories from four different well known Amish Fiction authors that I adore. These stories include:

Evergreen Love by Amy Clipston
Holiday of Hope by Kelly Irvin
Wreathed in Joy by Kathleen Fuller
A Christmas Prayer by Vannetta Chapman

I enjoyed every single one of these novellas. I am not sure if I could pick one over another. Each one was sweet, delightful, inspiring, and such a pleasure and joy to read.

I am going to give An Amish Christmas Wedding is five stars. I recommend it for readers who enjoy sweet Amish tales and those set during the magical time of Christmas. It is most definitely worth a read and not one to be missed this Holiday season.

My Review:

An Amish Picnic is a collection of four Amish stories by four of the most popular Amish authors. These stories include:

Baskets of Sunshine by Amy Clipston – Kevin seeks to find a way to take care of himself. He soon meets his boss’s daughter, Phoebe. The two become fast friends and fall in love. Only there are a few obstacles they need to get through to make it possible. Is it worth it to become a couple?

Candlelight Sweethearts by Kelly Irvin – Esther has had to deal with a stutter all her life and works for Jasper’s family business. The two do not get along. They soon find themselves in a situation where they have to deal with their differences and soon to find out how they really feel for one another.

Reeling in Love by Kathleen Fuller – Friends Nina and Ira love fishing together. Just when Nina discovers she has feelings for him and wants to let him know, things happen to keep her from doing so.

Picnics and Prospects by Vannetta Chapman – Faith and David decision years ago that they were not a match. However, after they team together to solve a mystery, they start to wonder if they should rethink about their past decisions.

I enjoyed all four of the stories from An Amish Picnic. They were all sweet and clean Amish reads. They were mostly predictable but still very much enjoyment. I am giving this collection four stars.

But when Christian can’t seem to stay out of her way, she finds herself slipping into old, chaotic tendencies.

What she doesn’t anticipate is that Christian's heart is slowly catching up with his mind—and she, too, must decide whether to follow logic or love.

My Review:

The Teacher’s Bride is the fourth installment from Amish of Birch Creek series by Kathleen Fuller. I believe this is my favorite of the series to date. I enjoyed this heartwarming, inspiring and delightful story. Christian and Ruby was so sweet. There are some laugh out loud moments, as well as, some tender ones.

I am giving The Teacher’s Bride five plus stars. I highly recommend it for readers who love clean and sweet Amish fiction.

Review: Words from the Heart (Amish Letters #3) by Kathleen Fuller

My Review:

Words from the Heart is book 3 from Kathleen Fuller’s Amish Letters series. I enjoyed the story. Noah and Ivy were great characters to get to know. That includes Aunt Civilla, who is a fabulous addition to the book. This is probably my favorite of the series. It is heartwarming, sweet and clean, with the addition of some laugh out loud humor.

I give Words from the Heart 4 1/2 stars and I recommend it for anyone who loves a good Amish story.

Review: The Promise of a Letter (Amish Letter #2) by Kathleen Fuller

The Promise of a Letter is the fabulous second installment from the Amish Letter series. Roman has left his Amish home and has been thinking about going English. However, he receives word that his grandmother has passed away. She has left him a letter with her dying wish for Roman to come back home to Birch Creek and find a way to reconcile with his brother, Daniel. Reluctantly, he goes and hopes he will not be there for long. Daniel's female employee, Leanna, is not what most would think of when they think of a young Amish woman. She does find herself among the gossip and untrue rumors from the community because of her unconventional ways. When tragedy strikes, Roman and Leanna are forced to work with one another and find themselves at odds. Will this drive Roman further away from his Amish faith or will it keep him in Birch Creek forever?

I loved The Promise of a Letter. I was not sure what I thought of the main characters, Roman and Leanna, at first. Leanna is not the average Amish woman I am used to reading about in Amish Fiction. But I did come to love her and found it to be quite refreshing to find a unique character like her. Roman grew, too, grew on me quickly once I started to get to know him. The two learned important lessons: Forgiveness, Redemption, and Faith. Just a beautiful story with several scenes that brought tears to my eyes. I cannot wait to read the third book in the series.

Highly recommended.

Lakeside Love by Kathleen Fuller. Esther feels she could never be like her little sister, Sarah. Sarah is the beautiful one and even has the attention of Judah, the one Esther has loved most of her life. How will things change when a Englischer comes to visit for the summer?

One Sweet Kiss by Kelly Irvin. Martha has been taking care of her family since her mother died when she was young. She, also, feels she needs to take care of wild boy Jacob. How will one summer change her world forever?

I thought An Amish Summer was pretty good. I enjoyed all of the short, sweet and clean Amish stories. My favorite would have to be Kelly Irvin's One Sweet Kiss. I would recommend this book as it is definitely worth a read.
