Review: Targeted by Lynette Eason, Lynn H Blackburn, and Natalie Walters

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Blurb:

Get ready for triple the excitement, intrigue, and romance with three heart-stopping stories from your favorite romantic suspense authors!

In On the Run, Lynette Eason introduces you to IT Specialist Daria Nevsky, a highly skilled FBI agent with the ability to hack any computer. She must go on the run to find out who wants her dead--and Dr. Ryker Donahue refuses to let her do it alone.

In Deadly Objective, Lynn H. Blackburn throws physical therapist Emily Dixon and Secret Service Agent Liam Harper into an impossible situation. They don't know why the vice president's son seems to be in the crosshairs of a killer, but they'll sacrifice anything to keep him safe.

In Caught in the Crosshairs, Natalie Walters pits former Army PSYOPS officer Ari Blackman against his colleague, CIA officer Claudia Gallegos, when Claudia is implicated in the murder of a Saudi prince. Can he prevent a coup that would put America at risk?

My Review:

Targeted is a collection of three romantic suspense novellas written by three of the top Christian suspense writers. The collection includes:
In On the Run by Lynette Eason
In Deadly Objective by Lynn H. Blackburn
In Caught in the Crosshairs by Natalie Walters
I loved this collection and could not pick my favorite of three. It would be a hard choice to do so. Every one of them are full of action, suspense, mystery, adventure, unpredictable twists and turns and, best of all, romance. The whole book is one that is not easily to put down. I greatly enjoyed it.

I am giving Targeted a very well deserved five stars. Readers who enjoy clean and quick romantic suspense will most definitely want to pick it up and immersed themselves into these three novellas.

I received Targeted from the publisher, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.

Review: Fatal Code by Natalie Walters

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Blurb:

In 1964, a group of scientists called the Los Alamos Five came close to finishing a nuclear energy project for the United States government when they were abruptly disbanded. Now the granddaughter of one of those five scientists, aerospace engineer Elinor Mitchell, discovers that she has highly sensitive information on the project in her possession--and a target on her back.

SNAP agent and former Navy cryptologist Kekoa Young is tasked with monitoring Elinor. This is both convenient since she's his neighbor in Washington, DC, and decidedly inconvenient because . . . well, he kind of likes her.

As Elinor follows the clues her grandfather left behind to a top-secret nuclear project, Kekoa has no choice but to step in. When Elinor learns he has been spying on her, she's crushed. But with danger closing in on all sides, she'll have to trust him to ensure her discoveries stay out of enemy hands.

Natalie Walters sucks you into the global race for space domination in this perfectly paced second installment of her SNAP Agency romantic suspense series

My Review:

Fatal Code is the second installment from Natalie Walters’ The SNAP Agency series. I enjoyed the first book, Lights Out, and enjoyed this one even more. It was a thrilling novel to read. It was full of danger, intrigue, twists and turns that I could not have predicted. Elinor and Kekoa were interesting characters and I had to keep reading to see how it would all end for them both. I loved it.

I am giving Fatal Code five stars. I believe readers who enjoy reading clean Romantic Suspense will want to grab this one. I look forward the next installment from The SNAP Agency series. Readers will see how Natalie Walters’ talent really shines through in this one.

I received a paperback copy of Fatal Code from the publisher, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.

Review: Lights Out by Natalie Walters

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Blurb:

CIA analyst Brynn Taylor developed a new program to combat terrorism, and she invited members of foreign intelligence agencies to America to foster cooperation between countries. Now one of them, Egyptian spy Remon Riad, is missing.

Jack Hudson has been working for the Strategic Neutralization and Protection Agency (SNAP) for almost nine years and takes the lead in hunting down the missing spy. But he isn't at all pleased to find out Brynn is involved. It's hard to trust a woman who's already betrayed you.

Every lead they follow draws them dangerously deeper into an international plot. Kidnapping, murder, explosions, poisoning--the terrorists will do anything to accomplish their goal of causing a digital blackout that will blind a strategic US military communications center and throw the world into chaos.

Can Brynn surrender control to a man who doesn't trust her? And can Jack ever get over what she did to him? The fate of the world--and their hearts--hangs in the balance.

My Review:

Lights Out begins an exciting new series by Natalie Walters, called The SNAP Agency. I thought this was a fabulous beginning. It has a lot I enjoy in a book, including, mystery, suspense, action, danger, and romance. I had to find out what was going to happen next. I loved the duo of Brynn and Jack. I found they made quite the team. Their story is not one that was easy to predict. I never knew what events would follow. I did not want to put it down.

I giving Lights Out four and a half stars. I believe many readers who enjoy reading clean romantic suspense will not want to miss this one. I will be looking for the release of the next installment from The SNAP Agency series.

I received a paperback copy of Lights Out from the publisher, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.

Review: Living Lies by Natalie Walters

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Blurb:

In the little town of Walton, Georgia, everybody knows your name--but no one knows your secret. At least that's what Lane Kent is counting on when she returns to her hometown with her five-year-old son. Dangerously depressed after the death of her husband, Lane is looking for hope. What she finds instead is a dead body.

Lane must work with Walton's newest deputy, Charlie Lynch, to uncover the truth behind the murder. But when that truth hits too close to home, she'll have to decide if saving the life of another is worth the cost of revealing her darkest secret.

Debut novelist Natalie Walters pulls you to the edge of your seat on the first page and keeps you there until the last in this riveting story that will have you believing no one is defined by their past.

My Review:

Living Lies is a pretty good debut by Natalie Walters. It, also, begins her series, Harbored Secrets. This book is full of mystery and suspense with stay on the edge of your seat action. I did not find this tale predictable at all. I was left guessing up until the last few pages.

I give Living Lies a well deserved five plus stars. I look forward to the next installment from Harbored Secrets series. Well done, Miss Walters, well done!

I received this book from the publisher. This review is 100% my own honest opinion.
