My Review:

Reflections on the Nature of Friendship gives the readers a new insight to the creation of friendships. Daniel Cantor Yalowitz EdD, does an amazing job by diving into these relationships that we experience through life. He describes the need for this type of connection. He uses three case studies that he used from his own life. He shows the reader how once can have sturdier, better, and maintainable friendships. I like how he brings out these thoughts by using literature, poetry, film and music. I am sure everyone would be able to relate and have a good understanding by what he has written. Each chapter reflects on different aspects of friendships. These include: Finding Oneself, Boundaries, Longing, Intimacy, Conflict and Into the Future. I really needed the chapter on Boundaries and Boundaried. It made me have a different outlook on my current situation. The book is over three hundred and sixty pages that kept me seeing things in a how new light and rethink.

I am giving Reflections on the Nature of Friendship four stars. I recommend it for readers who enjoy reading non fiction books about friendships. Like me, I am sure they will be inspired by what is between the pages. I would love to read more by Daniel Cantor Yalowitz EdD in the future to see what other aspects he can take his readers to.

I received a paperback copy of Reflections on the Nature of Friendship from the publisher. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
