In the Nick of Time Too is another wonderfully written story by Deedee Cummings. It is one that is geared for smaller readers but has big lessons for older readers could learn from. The beauty of seeing one another’s differences and embracing those differences is one that so many need to be reminded of. It, also, teaches about diversity, kindness, and being accepting of one another. I liked that the author uses the magic and spirit of Christmas to tell this fun and entertaining tale.
In the Nick of Time Too is beautifully illustrated by artist Charlene Mosley. Their talent really shines through in her beautiful pictures throughout the book. They followed the story perfectly. The pages were so colorful, eye catching and vibrant that would captivate any young reader’s eye. I adored the colorful pictures on every single page.
In the Nick of Time Too will be getting a very well deserved five plus stars. Readers between the ages of four and eight years of age. I think it would be a great addition in public, children’s and classroom libraries. I will be looking for more books by Deedee Cummings in the future. This one is definitely not one to be missed, especially for those who enjoy reading Christmas time books.
I received a soft cover copy of In the Nick of Time Too from the publisher, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
