Rachel Ignotofsky’s What's Inside a Flower?: And Other Questions about Science & Nature is a good and quick read. It is for younger readers but I enjoyed reading it myself. It was enjoyable to learn something new and a reminder of what is around me.

I recommend it for readers who enjoy learning about science and nature and are between the years four and seven. It would be a great addition to a school library or school classroom. I really enjoyed reading Rachel Ignotofsky’s Women in Science: 50 Fearless Pioneers Who Changed the World. I thought was a great book to read about some admirable women who helped change the world and beyond. I loved learning about these new to me and some I knew about women from our past.

Rachel Ignotofsky’s Women In Sports: 50 Fearless Athletes Who Played to Win is my favorite I have read by her. I thought was a great book to read about brave and courageous women from the sports world. It covers a variety of athletes from over the years. I loved reading more about some names I already knew about. I, also, found myself wanting to know about some others I have not heard of before.
Women In Sports: 50 Fearless Athletes Who Played to Win is getting a very well deserved five plus stars from me. I highly recommend it for young girls who enjoy learning about women athletes and are between the ages of six and twelve. It would be a great addition to a young readers’ personal bookshelf. I look forward to reading more by Rachel Ignotofsky in the future. I loved this one.

Rachel Ignotofsky is a New York Times Best
Selling author and illustrator, based in beautiful Santa Barbara.
