With that on their minds, they explore statistics, logic, social justice, and challenges to philosophies and social norms.

After rocky starts when new members enter the group, they learn to find the best in their fellow travelers, how to help, follow, and lead when necessary. Nothing is ever easy. Without attacking each other, they dig deep to reconcile their differences.

My Review:

I have had the pleasure of reading Jim Halverson’s previous book and jumped at the chance to read his newest release, Wilderness Spa: Where Physical Survival Meets Psychological Survival. I was far from disappointed. I thought it was pretty good. It is right about two hundred pages long but full of action, adventure, and danger. It was interesting how the author turned this work of fiction into something that seemed so real. I felt like I was transported into the Alaskan wilderness and among the characters of the story. It was amazing how the group of people had to overcome so much when they are trapped after an earthquake. Each one is different from the other and I was interested to see if or how they would be able to survive the horrific conditions they endure. They first have to figure out how to trust one another. I had to keep reading to find out how it would end for them.

I am giving Wilderness Spa: Where Physical Survival Meets Psychological Survival four and a half stars. I recommend it for readers who enjoy reading psychological fiction. I will be looking for more of Jim Halverson’s writing to see where his imagination will take his readers to next. This one is definitely worth a read and not to be missed.
I received a copy of Wilderness Spa: Where Physical Survival Meets Psychological Survival from the publisher, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
