My Review:

The Living Christmas Tree is a sweet story about a charming Christmas tree that comes to life at night. I adored seeing the family spending time together decorating the tree in the beginning. It was cute to see the joy on the faces of siblings Hannah and William. I love they get to experience something special during the most magical time of the year. Especially, once the pain are able to discover what has been happening with the tree while they have been sleeping. I thought it was such a fun, entertaining and enchanting tale to read during the Christmas season. I will be looking forward to reading it again and again every year.

The Living Christmas Tree is illustrated by the talented artist, Agus Prajogo. The pictures are colorful and vivid. They perfectly follow story and help bring the characters to life. They help the story flow and make it easy for younger readers stay focused on the story.

The Living Christmas Tree is getting a very well deserved five plus stars from me. I highly recommend it for readers who are between the ages of four and nine. It would be a great addition to add to the family’s yearly Christmas time reading. I would love to add more books by Kristin Sponaugle to add to my children’s personal library.

I received a hard cover copy of The Living Christmas Tree from the publisher, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
