My Review
Poppy is book two from Kat Flannery’s The Montgomery Sisters series. It tells the story of Poppy Montgomery, a gun toting, sharp shooting, don’t take nothing off of nobody female. She is determined to hunt down the killing Clemmons gang to make face the consequences of their crimes. Noah Shaw, a Pinkerton agent, finds himself in a little predicament when he arrests Poppy. The two are now stuck together and have to figure out a way to track down the infamous gang. Will they get more than they bargained for?
I enjoyed Poppy’s story and getting to know her. I admired Poppy’s bravery and courage. She sure is one head strong woman. A woman far ahead of her time. It was fun when she interacted with Noah. They had great chemistry together right from the start and it was so cute and enjoyable. The book is quick, but is chock full of action, danger, adventure, and suspense. And, of course, there is the sweet romance. I did not want to put it down and kept reading the whole tale in one sitting.
Poppy is getting a well deserved five plus stars from me. I highly recommend this book for readers who enjoy historical romance. I can not wait to read the third installment from The Montgomery Sisters series. I am looking forward to see what Kat Flannery has in store with the third sister, Ivy Montgomery.
I received this book from the publisher. This review is 100% my own honest opinion.
