Adam Kargman lives in Los Angeles, California with his wife and their two children. He was inspired to write Abracadabra Whoopsie after witnessing the sibling rivalry between his kids, which led him to wonder what would really happen if one sibling's dream to make the other one vanish came true.

My Review

Abracadabra Whoopsie is such a good little book for younger readers by Adam Kargman. It was so cute and sweet that made my own young ones stay captivated from start to finish. I was just as entertained as they were and enjoyed teaching them some valuable lessons that was within the pages of the book. The lessons are some that all readers – young and old – could learn from. We always have to be careful for what we wish for and we never know what we have until it is gone. Always appreciate for what you have.

I really enjoyed the illustrations in Abracadabra Whoopsie. Tristan Tait’s talent shines through in the pictures throughout the book. They followed the story perfectly. The pages were so beautiful and vibrant that would catch any young reader’s eye. I adored the colorful pictures on every single page.

Abracadabra Whoopsie is getting a very well deserved five plus stars from me. I highly recommend it for young readers of all ages, especially for those that three to eight years old. I will be proudly donating my copy of this book to my son’s elementary school library. I know the librarian and teachers will be thankful and excited to share this story with their younger students. I know they will enjoy this story as much as my family did. We will be looking for more books by Adam Kargman in the future.
