My Review:

MC Plays Hide and Seek: An Empowering Story for Healthy Children Who Care About a Person Living with Cancer by Eva Grayzel is an excellent book for young children. I wish I had it handy six months ago when my husband and I had to discuss with our children his cancer diagnosis. It was not an easy thing to do to let them know that he is very sick and we had a hard time figuring out what to say. This book would have been great to have at that time. The illustrations are perfect to help younger readers understand about cancer. I thought it is great way to help them cope with the news of this illness. The author does a fabulous job to show them what a cancer cell is.

MC Plays Hide and Seek: An Empowering Story for Healthy Children Who Care About a Person Living with Cancer will be getting a very well deserved five plus stars. I highly recommend it for young readers who have a loved one that has cancer. Especially, those that are between the ages of three and seven (and maybe even older). I hope Eva Grayzel will release another book like this one in the future. I thought this one would be a great addition to have in cancer centers.

I received MC Plays Hide and Seek: An Empowering Story for Healthy Children Who Care About a Person Living with Cancer from the publisher. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.

  1. I hope you find time to read this book with your children. It's important to continue the dialogue as children have new feelings and thoughts along your cancer journey. Thank you for the 5-stars PLUS! Together, we can help children through this difficult time. Please forward a pic of you reading the book to them, and I would love feedback from your child!
