My Review

Monsterland begins the series, also, called Monsterland by Michael Okon. To be honest, I was not sure if I was going to like this book or not. I did not think it would really be a story for me. Well, that quickly changed when I was about a quarter of the way through listening to the audio version of this book. This book is full of action, adventure and entertainment. Even though there is a lot of horror and frightening events, I could not help but to laugh out loud at some of the scenes. I just felt like I was on a thrilling ride throughout the book. I had no problem taking the day to listen to the whole book. My work suffered but it was so very worth it. I did not want to press pause to stop listening. I had to continually hear what was going to happen in the following scenes. Scott Brick’s performance was superb. I think he did a fantastic job brining this story to life and just the way the author intended. I hope he narrates the other books in the series.

I am giving Monsterland a very well deserved five plus stars. I can not wait to read Monsterland Renanimated to see what is going to happen next in this series. I recommend this one for readers who enjoy horror / fantasy / science fiction that is action packed and fast paced.

Great job, Mr Okon, for writing a fun and entertaining read.

I received this book from the publisher. This review is 100% my own honest opinion.
