My Review:

Notes to My Son is a beautifully written book to read. The whole book is only little over 100 pages long with 25 notes to the author’s son. Each note is only a couple of pages long and includes: a short and inspiring message, a quick note and a quote from many different people. Some readers may recognize some these various author quotes - some are well known and some are unknown. I liked all of these notes. They were thought provoking, logical, and powerful. Some of which, I never really thought about. So, it was not just lessons to learn o their children – son or daughter, it is lessons learned for the parents, as well – mom or dad. I enjoyed getting a candid look of the author and his son. I thought it was so sweet and tender to see the loving relationship between the two. There was some humor that I liked that made me smile to myself. I understand many of the notes and wished I had this book to read before having my children.

I am giving Notes to My Son a very well deserved five plus stars. I think this would make a perfect gift for expectant parents. I plan to pass my copy of the book to my nephew as he awaits the birth of daughter later this year. I think he will find some great tips, advice, great wisdom and inspiration by what is in between the pages. I highly recommend it for other parents, they will not regret it!

I received this book from the publisher. This review is 100% my own honest opinion.
