THE CHRISTMAS BLANKET by Ed Damiano Book Tour Giveaway

My Review:

Ed Damiano’s The Christmas Blanket is a sweet, charming and delightful little book to read for young readers. It was fun to follow EJ and his mom as they travel to see the Christmas tree lightning of the Rockefeller Center. During the adventure, EJ starts to learn more about other people in the city and realize the importance of the Christmas season. I loved this little boy’s heart and found him to be an inspiration to smaller readers and, also, a wonderful reminder for the adult ones, too. The end made my eyes tear up when I see what little EJ does to make it a most magical time of the year for someone else. Loved it!

I really enjoyed the illustrations throughout The Christmas Blanket created by the talented artist, Jeff Vernon. I loved how his pictures perfectly flow with the book and giving a visual of the story.

I am giving The Christmas Blanket a very well deserved five plus stars. I highly recommend it for readers who are between the ages of four and ten years old and adores reading Christmas time stories. I will be looking for more by this Ed Damiano in the future to share with my children. This one would be a great addition to annual Christmas time reading. I plan on having keeping my copy to read over and over again every year.

I received a hard cover copy of The Christmas Blanket from the publisher, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
