My Review

Mickey on the Move is a beautiful children’s book. It is based on a true story. I loved meeting Mickey and learning about his day at school is like. I love it that he was able to adapt and had friends to help him. As a mother of a child who has hearing difficulties, I thought the author does a great job in portraying what it is like for a child who is from the hard of hearing and deaf community.

Mickey on the Move is creatively illustrated by the talents of Jenny Phelps. She did a wonderful job of bringing the story to life. It gives a perfect visual depiction of what is going on. I believe the pictures are an excellent addition.

I would give Mickey on the Move one hundred stars if I could. I highly recommend it for readers who are five to nine years old. I believe it would be a great addition for a school library or classroom so other children can have a better understanding what one may be going through. I am hoping the Michelle Wagner will be releasing more Mickey books. I would love to see more about him. I believe he is such an inspiration for so many other children. I see him as a brave little boy that we all can adore for many years to come.

I received Mickey on the Move from the publisher. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
